Back to the main page. We went to Anse Chastanet on the island of St. Lucia. ![]() The resort from the water. We had 323 stairs from our room to the beach. Quite a workout. ![]() ![]() A shot our our first room. ![]() ![]() Four hours of sailing on a 42 foot boat. ![]() ![]() Soufriere, the island's second largest city was about 1.5 miles from the resort. ![]() ![]() Our last three nights were spent in a premium room. This was our view. ![]() ![]() Those two mountains are known as the Pitons. Believe it or not, the steep one in front is the small one...the Petite Piton. ![]() ![]() After heavy rains on Thursday, clouds rolled off the Pitons. ![]() ![]() A typical sunset seen from the beach. ![]() ![]() Some flowers seen around the island. ![]() ![]() ...and some more. ![]() ![]() Iron and Sulfur combine to create black water in one area of the island.
